Das war schon immer unser Traum: einmal auf einem Segelschiff durch die Adria kreuzen. Nun habe ich ihn verwirklicht! Auf der Sea Cloud Spirit, einem Schiff, das uns immer mal wieder in Häfen aufgefallen ist, bin ich von Venedig nach Dubrovnik gesegelt, entlang der kroatischen Inselwelt und mit Halt auf verschiedenen Inseln. Der Wanderstein 'Sea Cloud' liegt nun im malerischen Rovinj, vor der alles überragenden Kirche der Heiligen Euphemia mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Bucht und natürlich die Sea Cloud Spirit auf Reede.
That has always been our dream: to cruise through the Adriatic Sea on a sailing ship. Now I have realised it! On the Sea Cloud Spirit, a ship that we have noticed from time to time in ports, I sailed from Venice to Dubrovnik, along the Croatian islands and with stops on various islands. The wandering stone 'Sea Cloud' is now located in the picturesque Rovinj, in front of the all-sounding church of Saint Euphemia with a magnificent view of the bay and of course the Sea Cloud Spirit on Reede.
Die Altstadt-Halbinsel ist die Hauptattraktion und das beliebteste Fotomotiv eines jeden Rovinj-Urlaubers. Die alles überragende Kirche der Heiligen Euphemia ist das Meisterwerk des venezianischen Baumeisters Dozzi mit ihrem 60 m hohen Kirchturm, der dem Campanile in Venedig nachempfunden ist. Der Glockenturm ist damit das höchste Bauwerk von Rovinj und das Wahrzeichen der Stadt.

The Old Town Peninsula is the main attraction and the most popular photo motif of every Rovinj holidaymaker. The all-surging Church of St. Euphemia is the masterpiece of the Venetian master builder Dozzi with its 60 m high church tower, which is modelled after the Campanile in Venice. The bell tower is thus the tallest building in Rovinj and the landmark of the city.
